  • So many couples put off having children because they have to have a house first or what have you. Really, a baby or child needs very little - an apartment is fine. Sharing a room with siblings is fine.

  • Why would China loan the money? More like, China will wait for the banks in Europe and others to do a selling binge to delever. Then China will swoop in and buy the real assets (shares in companies, real estate, whatever) for cheap.

  • 10 year olds have no judgement. Lock up your guns. Saw a ten year old this halloween with a bright yellow plastic watergun point it at someone giving out candy when the candy giver said he could only take one, not two, Kids are inappropriate. Protect them.

  • Computer programming is a good career. I thought I needed to go back to university to get a comp sci degree, but after teaching myself VB and C out of books, landed a series of contracts, then a good paying Web Design Engineer job at a premium software development company.
